Assembly Assistant

This position involves assembling and packaging high end modern LED light fixtures. Prior product assembly and packaging experience is a plus. Candidate must be good with his/her hands, meticulous, able to follow detailed instructions, and have a positive, team oriented attitude.

Responsibilities include:
mechanical assembly
wire cutting and soldering
packaging
wood and metal finishing
fabric lampshade making

Required Skills:
comfortable with hand and power tools
mechanical assembly
attention to detail
ability to perform repetitive tasks
soldering experience is a plus

Hours: Full Time 8:30-5 with two 10 minute breaks and 30 minute lunch

Woodshop Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of woodshop assistant. This is a very hands-on position.

Responsibilities include:

Sanding
Finishing
Cutting
Assembling
Material Handling

The ideal candidate must:

Have a willingness to take direction and learn
Take pride in his/her work
Have a positive attitude
Follow all shop safety rules
Have a basic understanding of hand and power tools
Have excellent communication skills
Be able to perform repetitive tasks
Be able to lift 60lbs
Forklift experience is a plus
Must have reliable transportation to and from warehouse

This is a physically demanding position, where you will be on your feet most, or all of the day. We foster an atmosphere of TEAMWORK, and HARD WORK. We give 110% all day, and will expect the same of our addition to the team. And, while we are looking for someone with a basic understanding of woodworking practices, we are absolutely willing to train a properly motivated person.
